Know the urgent signs

Severe side or groin pain, fever, vomiting, blood in the urine, inability to urinate, or feeling very ill warrants prompt medical assessment.

  • Ask whether a passed stone can be analyzed
  • Bring prior imaging and urine results
  • Confirm safe fluid goals with the treating clinician
